Information for teachers and schools

We maintain long-term partnerships with schools to support young talent and provide practical insights into different career paths. These activities include plant tours, hands-on experience days for entire classes – such as technology courses – and other formats that help pupils explore modern working environments early on.

We regularly attend career information days and local fairs to introduce pupils and teachers to our training and career opportunities – and to answer questions directly. You’ll find us every year at events such as the Connect fair in Paderborn or the career fair in Hövelhof.

We offer workshops and presentations to support career orientation – for example application training, insights into technical professions, or tips for a successful start in working life. We’re also happy to visit your school and provide practical input that truly helps students move forward.

A pupil internship is the ideal way to get a first look into our training occupations and everyday working life. Students explore different tasks, ask questions, and discover which profession matches their interests. We support them in making an informed career choice. We offer pupil internships all year round in the metal and electrical fields – simply apply via our career website.

To apply, pupils only need a short cover letter with their preferred dates, plus a résumé and school transcripts. These can be uploaded directly on the site.

In addition to classic internships, we also offer experience days – a compact, practice-oriented format that allows pupils to explore our training areas within a short time. Participants get exciting insights into our technologies and processes and can actively take part themselves. Experience days can be organized for entire classes and tailored to their needs. To make the transition into the working world smoother, we support schools with application training and individual coaching. We show pupils how to structure a convincing application, provide practical tips for interviews, and answer all questions related to the recruitment process. In doing so, we prepare young people for their careers in the best possible way. Pupils are welcome to visit us in the training workshop – for example in combination with a taster day. Alternatively, our Talent Acquisition team is happy to visit your school. Just reach out to us.
