Numbers are your thing? Perfect! With us, you’ll gain insights into areas such as accounting, financing, controlling and more – preparing you for a strong career start in an international company.
Step by step through the combined study program
In your first year, you’ll learn the commercial basics and gain exciting insights into departments such as Sales, Procurement, HR, Logistics, and Training and Development. You’ll also be able to get involved in projects early on, such as the Open Day, giving you your first hands-on experience.
In your second year, you’ll deepen your knowledge during additional practical assignments and prepare for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK exam to become an Industrial Management Assistant. You can also look forward to an exciting international assignment (this is intended for everyone).
In your third year, you’ll regularly meet managers at networking events and get an in-depth look at the controlling and finance departments – the ideal foundation for your bachelor’s thesis.
In your fourth year, you’ll have even more opportunities to specialize, for example through a semester abroad and further advanced practical phases.
In your fifth year, you’ll shape your own career path: You’ll work in potential takeover departments and complete your studies with a master's thesis – the perfect start to your future at BENTELER.

The application period for our dual study programs usually starts one year before the program begins So if you want to start in summer 2026, you can already apply now. It’s best to apply early — these programs are popular and places fill up quickly.
Once we receive your application, we review your documents and check whether everything has been submitted correctly. If everything fits, you’ll receive an invitation to a digital online test, which you can complete from home within a two-week period.
If you impress us with your profile, the next step is an in-person interview — and if it’s a good match on both sides, you’ll receive your offer for a dual study place at BENTELER!
